In your first session, we'll focus on understanding your concerns, setting goals, and building rapport. It's an opportunity for you to ask questions and see how the therapeutic process might work for you.

Standard therapy sessions are 55 minutes, but we can discuss adjustments depending on your needs. I value creating sessions that are meaningful rather than strictly timed.

I provide evidence-based therapy using approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Substance Abuse Therapy for individuals and their families. Together, we create a safe and supportive space to explore challenges, build coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This helps avoid a cancellation fee and allows me to offer that appointment time to another client in need.

I do not typically bill insurance directly. This allows me to focus fully on individualized care without the restrictions that insurance companies sometimes place on session length, treatment approaches, or privacy.
Many clients find that paying out of pocket provides greater flexibility, privacy, and consistency in their care. I can also provide a superbill, which you may submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
